Filled with the spirit of adventure? Got some spare holiday time booked off? Don’t mind a longhaul flight?
If the answer to all of these requirements is ‘yeah, actually’, pay attention. A very good offer is coming, and involves fun things like code words and last-minute travel.
Yes, friends. There’s a way to get hold of a £50 return ticket to Miami.
This Monday, 22 January, if you pop to Waterloo station and spot a member of Virgin Atlantic cabin crew, all you have to do is be one of the first 50 people to go up to them and say the secret words: ‘Screw it, let’s do it.’
Yes, that does sound a bit dodgy, so please do make sure you only say these magic words to a member of Virgin Atlantic’s cabin crew.
If you manage to be one of the first 50 to do it, you’ll secure yourself a seat on the next return flight to Miami for £50. Considering that usually the lowest Virgin Atlantic sells return tickets to Miami for is around £400, that’s quite a sweet deal.
What’s the deal: The chance to get a £50 return flight to Miami
When: You’#8217;ll need to say the secret words to a crewmember between 7am and 10am on 22 January
Where: The crew will be hanging out at Waterloo station
You’ll get your flight booked then and there, then you’ll head to Miami the next day, 23 January. You won’t get too long over there, sadly, as the return ticket will be booked for 25 January, but that’s plenty of time to enjoy some sun, relax, and get back to work without infuriating your boss.
Now, some important details that bear repeating. This offer is only available on Monday 22 January, only at Waterloo station, only between 7am and 10am, and there are only 50 tickets.
That means you’ll either need to pop to Waterloo on your way to work or take the morning off to make sure to get there. We’d recommend heading over early, as we can see those 50 tickets being snapped up fast.
Good luck, wanderlust-filled types. We believe in you. If you don’t manage it, you can always buy a ticket to Brighton, or something. No need to limit your need for adventure to international travel.
